This two-day conference will see noted academics and leading industry professionals discuss the latest advances in Tribology. Key topics include: lubrication, emissions, energy reduction/renewables, emissions control, ‘smart’ surface engineering for machinery and lubricants.
Vehicle manufacturers are facing many challenges in simultaneously meeting the needs of their customers and of government legislators. The environmental impact of vehicles has to be reduced at the same time as providing improvements in vehicle performance and refinement. The conference will focus on how the tribological aspects of systems and drivelines can contribute to meeting these sometimes conflicting requirements.
The interdisciplinary nature of the conference together with the aim of bringing academia and industry together will provide immediate benefits to attendees. Industrialists will be exposed to the latest academic research activities that could have immediate applicability and academics will be able to identify potential areas for future research.
