Overview

Modern sport is intrinsically linked with engineering. The technologies that sports engineers introduce have a profound impact upon the performance of athletes at all levels. Over the years engineers have enabled athletes to run faster, hit further and jump higher, while reducing the risk of injury.

This one-day seminar will provide an update on the challenges facing sports engineers and will discuss the extent to which sports engineers can further develop sports.
