The continued safe and reliable operation of offshore oil and gas topside equipment beyond its original design life – designed for 25 years and still operating after 30!
Many offshore platforms, drilling, work over rigs and other facilities are past their original design life. But new technology and field enhancement has meant that they are required to continue operating.
Changing properties of the fluids produced or additional wells require different processing and equipment in order to maintain production.
The topside equipment needs to continue to operate and so often requires extension, adaption or preventative maintenance as well as updating, upgrading etc to bring it in line with current legislation and operating and safety practices. In addition there have been a number of mature offshore facilities that have been acquired by independent operators, with different priorities.
These topics will bring leading suppliers, service and engineering contractors and offshore oil and gas operators together to share their knowledge and experience, to extend the life of existing facilities in a safe, reliable and cost effective way.
The seminar will bring together the following attendees, to share their knowledge and experience, to extend the life of existing facilities in a safe, reliable and cost effective way.
