Overview
Following the success of the 10th London International Compressor Conference the 11th in this series will again be extended to cover three full days. The programme will include a full session dedicated to industrial issues of a non-technical nature, in addition to the traditional keynote addresses, research and technical papers, podium papers and discussions.
Featuring participation by manufacturers of compressors, expanders and systems and control systems, equipment suppliers, users and research organisations. This conference provides a forum where developments in air, gas and refrigeration compressors, vacuum pumps, expanders, related systems and components can be presented for discussion.
Day 1 and 2
These will be dedicated to the presentation of research and technical papers including keynotes, podium papers and discussions.
Industry Day (Day 3)
This will give representatives from industry an opportunity to describe how their companies are responding to changes in technology or market demands, eg. due to economic, environmental or legislative changes.
Short Course
The conference will be preceded by a short course on Computation fluid dynamics in rotary positive displacement machines, taking place on 7 and 8th September 2019.

Abstract and paper submission
All papers will be written and presented in English and will not have been presented or published at previous events. The papers will be published in a soft-bound volume as well as digitally, available to conference delegates. Authors are expected to attend the conference to present their work. Papers of merit will be considered for submission to an IMechE journal. Papers published in the conference proceedings will also be considered for an IMechE award consisting of a monetary prize and certificate.
The Call for Abstracts is now closed.
30th November 2018 - Abstract submission deadline of no more than 250 words.
17th February 2019 - Selected authors to submit draft paper of up to 4,000 words.
19th May 2019 - Draft paper refereed and final paper submitted.
Authors are invited to submit their abstracts and papers via Conftool.
