WHY OUR SPEAKERS ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CONFERENCE:
"Too many reasons! Suffice to say it is important to share our experiences."
Adam Storey, Power Plant Metallurgist, RWE Generation UK
"The challenges that we all face are such that we need to ensure we have the benefit of all of the existing expertise if we are to make the progress needed. We need to ‘….stand on the shoulders of giants…’ as Isaac Newton put it."
Edward Thomas, Head of Performance Management, Viridor
"As with anything, working in isolation is not a good idea. It is important that there are opportunities for an open exchange of ideas between all interested parties and this user group is the ideal place."
Gareth Hughes, Senior Consultant Engineer, FM Global
"It is a huge benefit if everybody contributes and shares his contribution with the community. This way we will be much faster developing the future."
Johannes Beyer, Principal Generator Engineer, Siemens
"To represent my company, exchange ideas, learn new developments and stay informed about the possibilities and opportunities in your field of work."
Vaclav Slama, Research, Development and Application Specialist, Doosan
"Without exposure to the presentations from such a wide variety of companies, it is very easy to not see the full picture relating to the industry, which would place you at a clear disadvantage. Attendance of this event gives great opportunities to discuss trends and become aware of technologies and solutions that may otherwise be missed."
Simon Farley, Leader, GE
