Overview
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) has been the recognised measure of manufacturing plant efficiency in most volume production industries for decades, but until recently has been sparsely or reluctantly adopted by “big pharma”.
This lecture will cover:
• OEE basics - what it is.
• How OEE can be practically applied in a pharmaceutical environment.
• The business benefits that can be expected by using OEE as the principal tool to drive improvements in manufacturing productivity and cost efficiency.
• Practical hints, tips and pharmaceutical case studies.
