Tyrone Johnson, Vehicle Engineering Manager, Ford Performance, will explore the latest developments and engineering challenges involved in creating the third-generation Ford Focus RS.
Ford’s all-new Focus RS introduces advanced technologies to deliver the ultimate fun-to-drive experience. Featuring a specially-engineered 350 PS 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine, the RS can reach 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 266 km/h (165 mph). This third-generation Focus RS pioneers the innovative Ford Performance All Wheel Drive system with Dynamic Torque Vectoring. It is also the first RS with Drive Modes, including the industry-first Drift Mode.
Take this opportunity to hear from Tyrone, the man at the heart of the development of the new car, and understand how the new model was engineered, whilst interacting with real-life examples of the upgraded drivetrain and chassis - an exclusive demonstration provided by Ford.
