Sabrina Ihaddaden: Signalling Project Engineer, Bombardier Transportation
Sabrina Ihaddaden (MIET) started her career as a Graduate Engineer to become a Signalling Project Engineer at Bombardier Transportation in Derby. She is now responsible for the integration of the Signalling on-board equipment of the CL710 (LOTRAIN) and CL720 (East Anglia) Rolling Stock projects. She graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2013 with a Masters Degree in Mechatronic Systems Engineering, as well as a Masters Degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the French Engineering School Arts & Metiers ParisTech.
Sabrina is also the former National Chair and CEO of the Young Rail Professionals, a non-for-profit organisation which aim to develop, promote and inspire the next generation of talent to join the Rail Industry. As the first woman at the head of the organisation, she led a team of 70 committee members, based across the country, to deliver the Networking & Development as well as the Ambassador Program.
In February 2017, she received the award for the Young Rail Professionals of the year, in the female category, by the UK Rail Industry Award.
