forefront of the energy sector.
Vincent blazed the trail for the
UK’s new nuclear programme during his 16 years as CEO of EDF Energy, which
included the acquisition of UK nuclear fleet and the development of the Hinkley
Point C nuclear power plant in Somerset. His talk will explore the changing
face of the UK’s energy market and what’s next for the industry, such as how we
can embrace a lower carbon future and encourage the next generation of
engineers.
The Academy’s flagship lecture
