Max Szwaj: CTO, Aston Martin
Max Szwaj begun his career at Rover in 1988, in what was
then the heart of the British motor industry. This was followed by time at BMW
(Head of Pre-Development), Porsche (Project Engineer Concepts and Package), Ferrari
(Head of Innovation/Chief Engineer Body in Black/Chief Engineer BiW current and
New Dev.) and Maserati (Head of Concepts).
Throughout Mr Szwaj’s 30 years in the automotive industry he
has worked on a variety of key projects from the MG-F roadster, New Mini,
Porsche’s Carrera GT, the LaFerrari, and Ferrari Portofino.
Mr Szwaj brings this experience to this latest position as
CTO at Aston Martin Lagonda. Since joining the company, Mr Szwaj has steered
R&D to deliver the DB11 Volante, Vantage, and DBS, as well as redefining
the New Product Creation Process and kicking off the concept development for
the new era of Aston Martins.
