Overview
Since its foundation, more than 100 years ago, CAF has been noted for its capacity to innovate and to tailor its products to meet the needs of each and every customer. For the UK market CAF has developed a “CIVITY UK” family of modular trains designed for regional and commuter services. The modular nature of the train allows them to be adapted to meet the individual needs of each customer.
CAF will present main technical solutions and technology of this family of trains and the challenges faced to develop these vehicles for the specific needs of the UK market, and the difficulties of the process for the new train introduction.
