Overview
Stef Kranendijk took over ailing carpet company Desso Carpets and not only turned it into a thriving successful business but did so by turning it into an exemplar of how the circular economy can and will work profitably. This example challenges the widely accepted myth that circular economy represents an on-cost to society.
The 2019 David MacKay Memorial Lecture will outline how our entire economic system could benefit from circular economy approach towards manufacturing. Stef will share insights into how he has made profit through a circular economic concept.
