Overview
In 2020 the Institution launched a series of webinars focusing on diversity and inclusion in engineering. In the new year we look forward to continuing this initiative and launch our very first event in collaboration with AFBE-UK.
The panel event led by Mara-Tafadzwa Makoni from AFBE-UK will look at barriers to inclusion and how to remove them, how do we collect and interpret data to drive change in our organisations and finally what you can do as a majority ally to tackle barriers to progression within profession as well as develop leadership potential.
The session will be interactive, and we encourage participants to contribute to the conversation through the event chat and polls. We value your thoughts and experiences in shaping the solutions that we hope to identify in this event. To contact us or submit questions for our panel, please get in touch at diversity@imeche.org.
