Overview
In 2022, the IMechE’s 175th Anniversary, the Institution launched it’s report ‘A Manifesto for the Future of International Collaborative Engineering’ authored by Dr. Tim Fox. The report looks at the challenges and opportunities for international engineering collaboration, especially in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change and emerging geopolitical trends.
This hybrid lecture, coinciding with the IMechE Process Industries Division’s AGM, will be presented by Dr. Tim Fox and features opportunities for Q&A and a networking reception after the lecture for those attending face-to-face.

Tim Fox CEng FIMechE: Immediate Past Chair, Process Industries Division, Institution of Mechanical Engineers
Dr Tim Fox is an internationally recognised expert in climate change mitigation and adaptation with specialist knowledge of clean energy systems, sustainable cooling, sea level rise, sustainable food systems and the process industries. He works as an independent consultant operating at the intersection of science-engineering-policy-business-communications. Tim is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, where he chairs the Climate Change Adaptation Working Group. Tim has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers, research reports, IMechE thought leadership reports and policy papers, and has commented widely in the press and at conferences and webinars.
