EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS
This event will explore the challenges faced by Rolling Stock Engineers in overcoming issues regarding extending the asset life of existing fleets and the development and integration of new fleets into service.
The lecture will be split into two separate presentations; firstly regarding the Bakerloo Line 72TS Fleet Life Extension Project and the challenges of ensuring an older fleet that isn’t fitted with on-train monitoring is safe for extended use, followed by an overview of the introduction of the new Class 345 fleet as part of the Crossrail Project.
