Overview
This presentation will share presenter Daniel Kenning's thinking about what we actually mean by “behaviour” and “change” and “sustainability” and how participants can most effectively apply their professional expertise to change behaviour and bring about whole-system change towards a sustainable future.
Join to hear a call to action to change how we behave as engineers, not as “consumers”, challenging behaviours beyond the narrow “consumer choices” and to think about what decisions they make, what assumptions they make, when they are acting in their professional capacity and how these behaviours can effect change away from business as usual and towards sustainability and the “circular economy”.
All engineers and professionals who want to do more to address climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, energy dependence should join to find out how to use their role as engineers, and not just as consumers, to bring about change.
Joining instructions for the webinar will be sent to all webinar registrants via a separate email 24 hours before the webinar takes place. If you have not received your instructions please email eventenquiries@imeche.org. This webinar will be available to view on-demand around seven working days after initial broadcast.
