Institution of Mechanical Engineers, London
Overview
The Automotive Division's next lecture will be presented by Geoff Davis, Chief Commercial & Technical Officer, MIRA and will look at the increasing presence of connected technologies in automotive transport and how this impacts the principles of vehicle engineering.
The trends of population growth and increasing urbanisation present increasing mobility challenges that include congestion and emissions. This is at a time where we are increasingly connected and observing the emergence of vehicle-based technologies that are enabling increasing degrees of automation and the emergence of alternative mobility solutions that may influence vehicle design.
In this talk, Geoff will identify these trends and look at some of the engineering challenges we, as an industry, may face.
This lecture is FREE and open to all.
Registration and a complimentary drinks reception begins at 17:30 for a 18:00 lecture start.
