The Institution’s International Conference on Turbochargers and Turbocharging returns in 2018 to address current and novel aspects of turbocharging system designs and boosting solutions. This popular conference brings together the international community to present technical findings and share innovative solutions, with 2016's conference seeing delegates from Austria, China, Germany, Japan, Sweden, USA, France, Italy, Netherlands, South Korea, Algeria, and Switzerland.
Downsizing and downspeeding development for spark ignition, compression ignition and hybrid engines will be the focus, as these are the fundamental ways to meet current emission legislations and environmental trends for reducing CO2. Focusing on air management solutions and improvements in overall engine reliability, durability and compactness, this conference will examine the new systems developments being implemented.
