Driven by the need for energy efficiency and legislative requirements for the reduction in carbon dioxide and other emissions, aerodynamics has never been more fundamental in vehicle design.
Attend the International Conference on Vehicle Aerodynamics 2020 to hear peer-reviewed presentations on the key issues around aerodynamics. Improve your organisation's management of the customer-centred aspects of vehicle design, including fuel economy, emissions, handling, stability, reduced wind noise and robustness against rain and spray.
Gain a greater understanding of the growing industry presence of autonomous vehicles and its implications for aerodynamic design. Hear about recent developments in wind tunnel test facilities and numerical simulation methods to improve the efficiency of your testing processes.
The 13th International Conference on Vehicle Aerodynamics will cover the latest developments and technologies in aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and aerothermal design, test and development.
CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS:
This call for presentations invites engineers, designers, suppliers, academics and researchers working in the field of vehicle aerodynamics to present their latest findings across a range of topics.
We invite you to share your experiences and provide a basis for discussion and debate by making a 20 minute presentation to delegates. Presentations should offer practical examples of issues encountered, how they were resolved or how improvements were made.
TOPICS TO BE ADDRESSED INCLUDE:
- Drag reduction techniques
- Handling and stability
- Vehicle to vehicle aerodynamic interaction
- Aerodynamic development of new vehicles
- Fundamental flow regimes and structures
- Aerodynamic influences on cooling flows and thermal efficiency

- Advances in CFD techniques
- Understanding and simulation of real-world conditions
- On-road measurement and testing
- Surface water flows and dirt contamination
- Sporting applications
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PRESENTATION:
Your abstract should outline the contents of a 20 minute presentation and should include the following information:
- Your full name and contact details
- A working title for your presentation
- A 150 word abstract of the topic/case study that you intend to cover and its application within industry
Please submit your abstract before 29 May 2020 to email@example.com
