Overview
Building on the 2021 event, the conference will provide a key forum for all vehicle, engine and powertrain development engineers and researchers to share their work and learn about the latest development and technological trends taking place.
Attend to get a detailed technical overview of the latest developments for internal combustion engines, as well as covering developments in the wide range of powertrain systems available (electric, fuel cell, sustainable fuels etc) and their associated powertrains. In order to achieve the net-zero transport across the globe, the life-cycle analysis of future powertrain and energy will also be included.
CALL FOR PAPERS NOW OPEN - DEADLINE EXTENDED 17 FEBRUARY 2023:
The 2023 conference aims to address the latest advances, research and development in powertrain systems. It will focus on the range of propulsion systems (see topic list below) to address net zero but also with a renewed emphasis on the challenges posed by tightening emissions regulation and evolving market trends.
We invite you to share your experiences and provide a basis for discussion and debate by authoring a technical paper which will be peer-reviewed and published in conference proceedings. Successful submissions will be asked to make a 20-minute presentation to delegates at the conference.
Topics include:
- Engines for light-, heavy-duty, off-highway and marine propulsion and for stationary applications
- Hydrogen ICE technology and applications
- The application of sustainable fuels including biofuels, e-fuels, and ammonia
- System development for electrical machines
- Fuel cell technology and sub-systems
- Hybrid powertrains
- Emissions control systems and real driving emissions (RDE) for Euro 7
- Zero-impact emissions solutions
- Simulation, modelling and experimental techniques
- Powertrain development methodologies and systems analysis
- Life-cycle analysis of powertrains for net zero
To submit your work, please provide an abstract for your proposed paper in 500 words and include:
- Your full name, job title, organisation and contact details
- A working title for your paper
- A short biography for the lead author (no more than 50 words)
Submit your work via the Oxford Abstracts website
Alternatively please email the Conference Papers executive.
Draft paper deadline: 26th May 2023
Final paper deadline: 7th August 2023
