Webinar, Online
Overview
Libertine’s ‘intelliGEN’ Opposed Free Piston development platform is being used to demonstrate improved combustion with bioethanol, an energy-dense low carbon biofuel. This technical programme aims show how a variable compression ratio cold start strategy can reduce misfiring under cold start conditions, a key challenge for renewable alcohol fuels such as bioethanol and e-methanol.
This presentation will cover the piston motion control performance requirements, the technical innovations that allow Libertine’s intelliGEN platform to meet these requirements, and validation of this performance through simulation and prototype testing.
